Mehr! Entertainment Rocks and Expands!

As of today, January 1st, 2013, Mehr! Entertainment will take over major share-holding of the renowned Hamburg concert organizer a.s.s. concerts & promotion GmbH. This move enables the Duesseldorfer Mehr! Entertainment Group to further expand its portfolio with the segment of concerts in the German speaking area and thus to strengthen its position as leading supplier of first-class live entertainment. As Full Service provider, Mehr! Entertainment offers the entire range from ticket purchasing to the live event itself for a variety of products - from Shows, Theatre, Opera and Musical, even to Adventure Exhibitons and, in future, Rock-Pop Concerts.

The activities of a.s.s concerts & promotion GmbH will also enrich Mehr! Entertainment's venues and support their constant expansion, including the new theatre which will be built in Hamburg's Grossmarkt .

a.s.s concerts & promotion GmbH has its Headquarters in Hamburg. For the past 26 years, it has been one of the most established and successful tour producers in Germany. The company was founded in 1979 by Dieter Schubert and has been managed as joint limited company with Michael Bisping since 1986. The Managing Proprietors will jointly continue to conduct the operative business within a.s.s. GmbH.

Since its foundation, the company has continued to grow and expand. Next to its core business in the Rock and Pop segment, a.s.s. GmbH also calls the Metal division Dragon Productions and the Gala- and Event company K-Musix its own. a.s.s. concerts and promotion GmbH currently has just under 30 employees at their HQ in Hamburg, in Cologne and South Tyrol.

The company also has a name as agent for renowned acts like Heaven17 and Alphaville. Furthermore, the company focuses on promoting national and international performers. All these activities will now be boosted by Mehr! Entertainment's complex and experienced know-how in the field of high-class live entertainment.

The Mehr! Entertainment Group Headquarters is based in Duesseldorf and it is an active player in the field of entertainment in Germany. Activities of Mehr! Construction work on the new theatre in Hamburg's Grossmarkt will start in summer 2013. Opening the new venue in late 2014, Mehr!
